Certified Nurse Aide Seminar (24 CEUs)

The Texas Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) renewal requires all nursing assistants who have earned a certification to complete twenty-four (24) hours of approved in-service education every two years prior to renewing. Each lesson suffices the four (4) hours of the required twenty-four (24) of in-service education.

 

The lesson content relates to the elderly/geriatric/senior care and the care of residents/individuals with dementia, which includes Alzheimer’s disease. Nurse Aides may repeat the in-service lessons to review the Texas State requirements and best practices for nursing aides working in nursing facilities where the elderly/geriatric/seniors are cared for.

 

The Nurse aide who completes all six (6) online lessons will satisfy the twenty-four (24) hours in-service renewal requirement.
